Courses

While working in industry, I began to teach Introduction to Technical Communication as an adjunct. I quickly realized that I preferred teaching and research over industry, so I left my career in industry to teach fulltime as a Visiting Lecturer for UNC Charlotte where I taught a 4/4 load of Introduction to Technical Communication. Throughout my doctoral program I taught a 2/2 load for Clemson, teaching first-year composition classes and technical communication classes. I also taught adjunct for UNC Charlotte, teaching a combination of Introduction to Technical Communication and Liberal Studies courses. My Liberal Studies courses focused on AR, game studies, and Westernization of games and apps. At the University of North Florida, I continue to independently create course material and curate examples for all courses to meet the University’s stated goals.
